THANK YOU. Events: Cards for the Troops Saturday, September 10th 10:00-2:00 Free (donations accepted) Join us for Cards for Troops on Sat Sept 10th from 10am - 2pm. With this being the 10th anniversary of 9/11 lets show our troops some extra love by making lots and lots of cards. From Our Hearts tries to ship out 12,000 cards every 6 weeks to 40 units. That's a lot of cards! And speaking of a lot of cards we made 541 for our August event with another donation of cards made bringing our total for August to 611 cards! Totally awesome. On a side note, since we are having more and more volunteers come to help make cards, there is limited space available for cropping during the event. Please call the store to see if space is available prior to arrival. This is a valuable service in supporting our service members, thank-you for understanding. al. Don't forget to put the following event dates on your calendar: Saturday Oct 15th 10am - 2pm Thursday Nov. 10th from 5pm - 9pm for a special Veteran's day event. We will be making Valentine's for the troops to send home to their loved ones. If you make cards, any donations of cards already made are appreciated. Saturday, September 24th 10:00-6:00-No Crop We will be closing the store early on Friday, the 23rd to get the store ready to "Blow Your Socks Off"! We will unveil all of the Christmas collections we have received. We will also have 5 stations set up in the crop room to make Christmas cards and cost will be $1.00 each (as long as supplies last). Friday, September 30th-October 1st 10:00 a.m.(Fri)-10:00p.m. (Sat) $75.00 Literally! 36 hours of cropping - we are going non-stop! That's right! Friday, September 30th at 10:00am until Saturday, October 1st at 10:00pm. We will be doing this with Sleep in with the Cure - so $35 will go straight to the Oklahoma Komen Foundation. We have a team and you will be registered under our team. You will receive a Sleep In for the Cure T-Shirt, Snooze Bib, a 2011 WLS ScrapPink T-shirt, goodie bag and there will be snacks and drinks. You will need to deliver items to the store beginning Wednesday, October 5th and no later than 5:00 on Friday 7th. Doors will open at 10:00. Cost is $10.00, you will recieve a number and labels for your items at the time you pay for your entry. Please make sure the pricing is easy to read. The amount you recieve for the sale of your items will be reimbursed in the form of a store gift card. These and your items will be able to be picked up beginning Monday, October 10th.
